Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was established in 1980 by Lozier Architects and Engineers, Inc. to provide sampling and analytical services to the environmental community. At its inception, Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was created to address the 'new' complex technical and regulatory issues facing engineering firms in the early 1980?s. Its focus was the sampling of bulk building materials for asbestos content and ambient air sampling associated with asbestos abatement. Other specialties included lead abatement monitoring, food analysis, field sampling of industrial wastes and water, and chemical analyses of water and solids. 

On April 9, 2002 the company was purchased and incorporated by Lozier employees as Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. Lozier is a certified woman business enterprise through the New York State Department of Economic Development (DMWBD). 

The client base has grown to include a significant number of engineering and consulting firms, school districts, municipalities, and commercial/industrial accounts. In September 2004, Lozier purchased a two-story commercial building and is now located at 2011 East Main Street, Rochester, New York. 

Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. maintains a variety of certifications, licenses, and accreditations including the New York State Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP), AIHA Industrial Hygiene Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT), the New York State Department of Labor (DOL), U.S. EPA certification to conduct lead-based paint activities, and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. Our staff consists of dedicated employees, including microbiologists, technicians, sampling specialists, sales and support personnel.
