Larry Goforth, who grew up in Rochester and became an electrician, founded Goforth Electric in 1981 when a good friend and business owner suggested that he start his own electrical business. The business started in a home office and garage in Waterport, NY. As the business grew, it relocated to a shop in Albion. It was during this time, 1982, that Nathan London joined the company. Nathan has since worked his way up to Vice President, in charge of generator sales, along with many other responsibilities. In 2002 the business moved to its present location in Brockport, NY, which has allowed for increased business while still serving our original customers. The present staff has a combined total of more than 90 years with Goforth Electric.
