Erie Electric is an electrical contractor based out of Rochester, NY. They chose the name Erie because founder Brian Korn had spent his entire apprenticeship and first 10 years as a Journeyman wireman in Denver Colorado working for Erie Electric out west. Brian was slated to take over Erie Electric in Denver but choose to move back to Rochester to be closer to family. After working in Rochester for a few years Brian & his wife Jess toyed with the idea of going back to Colorado, purchasing Erie Electric and resuming business out there. However with rising housing cost and family in Rochester, they choose to stay. They called the owners of Erie Electric in Denver and proposed buying out the business and moving all the equipment to Rochester. From here they partnered with James Rafferty and Mark Powers.
