Since its inception in 1996, Encorus has grown to encompass a dedicated team of 110 full-time professionals. The firm’s expertise spans across inspection, testing, and diverse engineering disciplines; including civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation and controls, environmental/hazardous materials, and fire protection. Staff conduct inspection, testing and monitoring services in support of civil engineering, mechanical integrity, and regulated building materials departments. We also provide architectural services, litigation support and forensic engineering services. Our Rochester and West Seneca offices have full laboratory capabilities for civil testing and non-destructive testing.

Civil materials testing and inspection: Construction materials testing and inspections for rebar, concrete, masonry, fireproofing, and structural steel inspections performed by a CWI

Non-destructive testing: Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Ultrasonic, and Visual Testing, backed by certified AWS CWI inspectors. In addition we perform Destructive Testing services such as Bend Tests, Fillet Break Tests, Nick Breaks, and Macro Etch analysis, and Nondestructive Level III Services.

Regulated building materials services: Hazardous materials building inspections, abatement design, contract oversight, project monitoring, and air quality sampling forenovation and demolition projects. In addition, we provide services for facilities managing asbestos-in place.

Mechanical integrity services: NBIC-certified boiler and pressure vessel inspection, tank inspection, failure analysis, OSHA compliance, field inspection, reporting, and more

Engineering design: Civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation and controls, environmental/hazardous materials, and fire protection

Architectural design: commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, education, and more
