Based in Irondequoit, NY, C.M. Armitage Electrical Contracting Inc. has been providing its customers with superior service for over 15 years.
Craig Armitage, the owner and CEO of C.M. Armitage Electrical Contracting Inc. founded the company in 2000 as a side business while working for BOCES II as a teacher in the commercial and industrial electrical trades program. By 2007, the company's growth meant Craig would have to leave teaching, as it was important to him that students have a teacher fully focused on the classroom. That dedication to his students is evident even now as many of the foremen at C.M. Armitage are former students. The company currently employs around 50 people.
When business began to outgrow his home office, Armitage purchased and redeveloped a parcel on Washington St., tearing down and old barn and replacing it with a state-of-the-art facility to house C.M. Armitage Electrical Contracting. The project was completed in 2013.
Notable C.M. Armitage projects include the Hilton Garden Inn downtown, University of Rochester's College Town (including Barnes & Noble and Constantinos Food), the Button Lofts apartments and I-Square.
C.M. Armitage provides services for residential, commercial, and industrial, including network cabling and systems for telephone, fire alarms, security, energy management, access and video surveillance, as well as a full monitoring company for fire alarm and security, design and build.
